The Barefoot Trails are specific areas in which to practice barefoot hiking, a proprioceptive experience in total silence along trails immersed in nature in order to be more in touch with Mother Earth, to listen to your own body in a sort of return to our origins. You will walk on pine needles, tree bark, pine cones, soft moss, leaves, grass, and pebbles.
Benefits: Barefoot hiking improves whole-body balance, reduces stress, and reactivates microcirculation.
Natural Kneipp is barefoot hiking along specific sections of the Sarca river.
Benefits: The cold water reduces inflammation and congestion while narrowing blood vessels. It reinforces the immune system and restores psychophysical balance, while promoting relaxation and reducing stress. It stimulates vital energies and combats rheumatic disorders. We recommend starting out slowly and staying in for about ten minutes.
A Silence Room is a place of complete tranquility in which to spend time in total silence and to just breathe, admire the wonders of nature, meditate, and shake off the stresses of daily life. It is a place of peace and serenity, an open space suited to practicing yoga – such as sun salutations – and inner silence in complete freedom at any time of day.
In a special, almost magical place dedicated entirely to yourself. Thich Nhat Hanh described it best in his book Silence: “We spend a lot of time looking for happiness when the world right around us is full of wonder. To be alive and walk on the Earth is a miracle, and yet most of us are running as if there were some better place to get to. There is beauty calling to us every day, every hour, but we are rarely in a position to listen. The basic condition for us to be able to hear the call of beauty and respond to it is silence. If we don’t have silence in ourselves – if our mind, our body, are full of noise – then we can’t hear beauty’s call. […] Our heart is calling us but we don’t hear. We don’t have the time to listen to our heart.”

Benefits: Recent studies have shown that hugging a tree, or even just being near one, improves focus and reaction times, while reducing depression and headaches.
Natural Walking is an easy walk along flat ground that enables us to keep a constant pace and regular heart rate, which promotes a healthy metabolism. It is particularly suited to people who are overweight, sedentary, undergoing cardiovascular rehabilitation, diabetic, or otherwise not used to walking a lot. Along the path there are points for exercising and for breathing techniques with the help of specific information boards.

RIFUGIO NAMBRONE – SENTIERO DELLA CANAVACCIA – RIFUGIO NAMBRONE
Val Nambrone, wild and rich of Water is the natural site for the Natural Wellness Eements, find all out in this itinerary!
The itinerary: From Rifugio Val Nambrone, walk on the right along the main road until the second bridge on the Sarca river. Cross the bridge and turn right, here the itinerary begins: follow the red signage on the stones. Soon you’ll arrive in the area designated for Natural Kneipp and Barefeet Trail (on the grass). We suggest you to practise the Natural Kneipp in the flat part of the river and to use trekking sticks for a better balance. Continue on the path passing some nice little bridges on the river until a small field identified as Silence Room, here you can practise the Inner Silenceor the Sun Salutation. In the nearby you’ll find a special tree for the Tree Huggingpractise: choose the one you prefer. Go ahead until Ponte di Val Nambrone on the main road, you can return back to Rifugio Nambrone walking on the road or on the same trail of the Dolomiti Natural Wellness itinerary.

An itinerary that takes us from the pleasant sounds of the Vallesinella falls to the intimate silence of Malga Brenta Bassa.
The itinerary: From the Vallesinella parking lot, take the trail that leads to Cascata di Mezzo, an excellent Silence Room for Breathing exercises at this beautiful waterfall. Continue along the forest road to Malga Fratte, another Silence Room for practicing Inner Silence (connection with itinerary n. 7). Continue on to Malga Brenta Bassa, a special Silence Room where you can enjoy a variety of practices: Sun Salutation, Barefeet Hiking, Tree Hugging, Natural Kneipp (we suggest you to practise the Natural Kneipp in the flat part of the river near the signals and to use trekking sticks for a better balance). Return to Cascata di Mezzo along the dirt road that heads uphill away from Malga Brenta Bassa. Back at the falls, you may again practice Breathing exercises before returning to the start.

Val Brenta, the perfect place for Sun Salutations and the search for harmony with nature.
The itinerary: From S. Antonio di Mavignola, take the Val Brenta road to the parking lot near Prà de la Casa, where the itinerary begins. Start on the left direction on the unpaved road direction Pra de Mez, here you meet the first Silence Room where we suggest to practise the Breathing exercises. Go straight on to Malga Fratta, the second Silence Room where is possible to test the Inner Silence. Continue walking direction Malga Brenta Bassa, at the feet of the Brenta Dolomites: the surrounding area, a natural Silence Room for the Sun Salutation is dedicated Natural Kneipp, Tree Hugging, Bare Feet Trail (we suggest you to practise the Natural Kneipp in the flat part of the river near the signals and to use trekking sticks for a better balance). Return to the starting point along the “giro della Forra” (Forra trail), following the direction first for “Piazzale delle Bore” and then “Pra de Mez”.

A very easy itinerary particularly suited to newcomers to the world of holistic wellness.
The itinerary: From the center of Madonna di Campiglio, take the trail that head uphill along the Sarca river to Piana di Nambino. At the start of the dirt road, keep to the left towards the area dedicated to Dolomiti Natural Wellness near the wood Alpini hut. Here you can head to the water for a Natural Kneipp (we suggest you to practise the Natural Kneipp using trekking sticks for a better balance). You can then experience Tree Hugging and Bare Footing in the woods behind the hut. Head back to Madonna di Campiglio on foot following the same trail.
