Quality Park Club Philosophy

The Quality Park Mark has been created to support sustainable development by involving tourist operators, farms, food industries and schools in the philosophy of respect for the environment.

The project awarding a territorial environmental/marketing certificate involves the economic/social structure and was established after the Park received the ISO 14001 Certificate in 2001 (the first in Europe) for its constant commitment to environmental quality.

The firms that satisfy the environmental protection requisites of a technical/legislative nature (calculated and sparing use of ecological detergents, forms of energy saving, fewer emissions of pollutant gases and wastes, differentiated refuse collection) and of a managerial and communicative nature (ways of using human resources, enhancement of special features, raising the awareness of guests towards environmental protection) are rewarded with the Quality Park mark.

Verification that the requisites have been satisfied is carried out by the Det Norske Veritas, an independent international foundation for tourist hotels and other establishments. The report is then vetted by the Technical Mark Committee, composed of representatives of the Park, the Autonomous Province of Trento and trade associations. The final decision to grant the Quality Park mark is taken by the Executive Committee of the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park.

The aim of the Quality Park Club is to establish a network of cooperation between the managers for the continual improvement of accommodation establishments operating within the areas around the Adamello -Brenta Nature Park.
